For seasoning the cloves are also used, but most of them are manufactured into cigarettes. And yes, we downscaled the photo on purpose, but there are also cloves in the front of the picture, yet not that dry.

The task was:

On Pulau Weh you often see something lying out on the roadside to dry. But what is it that the Indonesians are drying? And a supplementary question: what do you mainly need it for in Indonesia?
