So, do you guys make a blog? Oh no, I don’t feel like it, so many people have done what we do, it’s nothing special. And I don’t travel to blog about it and upload my photos. Complaining!
Sure, friends and family want to see where we are every now and then. You asked for it. And the BEFORE the trip is more effort than expected. The decision to quit was difficult, but after some stumbling the letter was in the box. And if you really have a lot of time to prepare, you get all the boring topics including: pension insurance, income tax, subletting, visas, foreign health insurance, second passport. And of course all the nice topics too, where to go, what to see and how to get from A to B. Every now and then I get a touch of anxiety, interestingly mostly about the family and their and my own well being. I never had this before. But then the next wave of anticipation for the different cultures, for the challenges along the way comes washing in and the days run by…
